For the month of April, we’re reading Forest Therapy: Seasonal Ways to Embrace Nature for a Happier You, by Sarah Ivens.
This book has a section titled: ‘How to maintain a relationship with Mother Nature in trying times’, which I thought fit the current pandemic situation quite well. It reminds us how helpful nature can be for you and how to bring some of that power inside your home as well, through scent, indoor plants, etc. I find these tips are especially useful right now, if you are unable to go outside or find yourself doing so less.
***This month, I will be posting weekly ideas on the facebook group, in lieu of a in-person hike due to Covid-19 restrictions. ***
Book Summary: “Forest Therapy offers practical steps and inspiration to tap into nature’s restorative power, no matter the season or the weather. Chapters address ideas for all four seasons, as well as ways to use experiences in nature as ways to deepen your relationships with your children, partner, and friends.”
