June’s book pick is The Breath of a Whale: The Science and Spirit of Pacific Ocean Giants by Leigh Calvez.
I have chosen this book for June due to recent Orca activity in our area. I am hoping to host a local hike later this month, as long as Whatcom county moves into phase 2 of the governors re-opening plan. The hike will be chosen for possible whale viewing and nature photography opportunities.
